Finished Oyster Bay Shawl
I hurried up and finished the Oyster Bay Shawl in my downtime in Florida, purely so I could take FO pictures on the beach. It ended up being pleasantly empty, as there was wind that made it quite uncomfortable, but hey, this was easier than posing in 13 degrees in Boston.

Pattern: Oyster Bay Shawl by Lori Law
Yarn: Unique Sheep Luxe, 6 skeins in the Caribbean Gradiance colorway. I used all of the fifth and sixth skeins (I had to use the fifth to bind off), and I have various amounts left of 1-4.
Needles: Addi Natura US 8
Modifications: None
Dimensions: 82″ across, 40″ deep
Date started: February 8, 2010
Date completed: March 12, 2010
Time: 19 hours for knitting, .25 hours to weave in ends for a total of 19.25 hours.
And because I couldn’t just pick one:

Absolutely stunning shawl AND photos!
These are such great pics! I am totally jealous that you got all matchy-matchy with the yarn and the water and the sky.
It came out great tho, seriously.
Just beautiful! And what the perfect photo opportunity.
It’s beautiful! And, what a perfect place to take pictures.
Beautiful and it looks great in the wind!
Beautiful shawl. You are quite the beach model! Do you get paid extra for that?
